About Me

I’m Emilia Stypulkowska, career coach and founder of Sunny Side Up Coaching.

Sunny Side Up Coaching is named for my optimism. Even though I was fortunate to work for some amazing organizations in my first career, I also navigated a fair share of setbacks. Through these challenges, I held onto my innate optimism and with this positive energy, was able to catapult myself into bigger and better opportunities that were progressively more aligned with my talents and values.

This brings me to the present. As a career coach, I apply my hard-won knowledge to help clients discover their unique strengths and land dream jobs of their own. I’ve worked with dozens of clients across various industries and professions and helped them land their dream jobs.

My passion is to help clients pursue careers that align with their talents, motivations, values and areas where they want to make an impact. I want people to feel excited when they get up in the morning and make sure that their career allows them to express who they are, not suppress who they are.

What are my career highlights?

  • Led more than 50 workshops on topics such as revamping your resume, landing a job with your dream employer, and reimagining your career

  • Worked with dozens of clients across industries and professions at various stages in their career to define their next step and land their dream role

  • Helped clients achieve an average pay increase between $15K to $20K and one client was able to double her salary

  • Conducted recruitment searches for various companies and among my many successes, recruited an executive director for a new non-profit organization

  • Presented for the United Nations Association in Canada's Building Young Entrepreneurs programme as well as the University of Toronto

  • Lent my job and career search expertise to multiple online magazines including Slice.ca and the Women’s Empowerment podcast on Spotify

  • Wrote and published a book on the topic of friendships

Why Sunny Side Up Coaching? How am I qualified to help you?

I bring first-person insight from a number of fields, including recruitment, entrepreneurship, the nonprofit sector, and fundraising. I have interviewed with more than 30 organizations over the course of my career and have received more than 20 job offers.

I’ve worked with clients from all across North America to help them define their next steps, up-level their careers, and land their dream jobs.

My track record includes creating beneficial change in my own life and the lives of others, from developing consistent healthy daily routines to revamping my own and others' careers.

I lead with the perspective that introspection is the key to finding a fulfilling career. I provide tools and insights that help you deepen your awareness of your motivations, preferences, talents, and values. I blend an intuitive approach with collaboration, strategy, and action. As you define the vision for your career and your next step, I hold you accountable to that vision and encourage you to set your sights high and increase your belief in yourself.

My approach is energetic and optimistic but also empathetic, caring, and supportive. One client describes me as not only a career coach, but “a wise elder, a spiritual support system, and a life transition guide.”

My clients often describe our work together as having a magical quality. Dream opportunities come from out of the blue once clients commit to this work and claim what they want. If these terms are familiar to you, great. If these kinds of terms are too “woo-woo” for you, that’s okay too. Believers or not, these qualities have manifested themselves in many of my clients’ career shifts.

I resonate with the notion of progressing continually in the spirit of constant and never-ending improvement (CANI). As I grow and evolve, I bring the totality of my understanding, passion, joy, empathy and insight to my sessions and interactions with clients.
